Mentio reads every new article published on DEV (dev.to) each hour and keeps those that contain a keyword.

## What a mention carries

* `post.text`: the article's title, description and tags.
* `author`: name, profile link and avatar.

The rest is the same on every platform: relevance, sentiment and intent from the classifier, your triage, and the keyword it matched. See the [mention shape](/api).

## Mute an author

`dev.to/name`, an article link, or a handle. See [Mute authors](/alerts#mute-authors).

## Limits

* The article's body is not read: a keyword named only in the body is missed.
* Comments are not read.
